Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data YzzyStudy collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

On your device: your progress is also kept in your browser, so the app responds instantly and works through brief connection drops. It is synced to your account in the background.

When you sign in with Google: Google tells us your name, email address and profile photo, and confirms the email is yours. We store these, and your study progress (practice answers, test results, plan settings and daily activity), in our database hosted by Cloudflare, so your progress is available on every device where you sign in. We never see or store your Google password.

If you report a problem with a question: we store the question's identifier, the problem you chose, any note you write, and your account identifier.

We do not collect payment details today. We do not show advertising and we do not sell or rent your personal data.

Why we use it

To provide the service you ask for: to keep you signed in, to save and sync your progress, to build your study plan and daily tasks, and to fix question errors you report. We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you create an account, and you can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.

Analytics

We may measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

Cookies and storage

YzzyStudy does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It sets one essential cookie that keeps you signed in, which cannot be read by scripts on the page, and uses your browser's storage to keep your progress on the device.

Who processes your data

Cloudflare hosts the website and our database, which holds your account and synced progress. Google provides sign-in. Both act on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Account and synced data are kept until you delete your account. Data on your device stays until you remove the profile or clear your browser's storage.

Your rights

You can access and correct your data in the app, and download a copy from Account → Backup. You can erase your account and all synced progress from Account → Delete account; this also removes your sign-in. You may also contact us to exercise any of your rights, to withdraw consent, or to raise a grievance, and you may nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

Children

YzzyStudy is intended for adults preparing for competitive exams. If you are under 18, please use it only with the consent of a parent or lawful guardian.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections. Our server checks every request, so each account can read and change only its own data. Sign-in sessions are stored only in hashed form.

Contact and grievances

Write to support@yzzystudy.com. We aim to reply within 7 days and to resolve grievances within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users in the app.
