Know exactly what to study today.

Tell YzzyStudy when you want to finish and how many hours you have. It turns the CAT syllabus into a day-by-day plan, checks that the plan actually fits, and keeps adjusting as your practice and mocks come in.

Works in your browser, on a phone or a laptop. No card, nothing to install.

The ‘What to do today’ card: three tasks, each with the reason it was chosen and how long it takes.
483CAT-level questions
37chapters, in the right order
35timed tests and mocks
27reading passages
Everyquestion solved step by step

These are counted from what's in the app today, not rounded up. We add more in checked batches.

Sound familiar?

Most CAT aspirants don't lack effort. They lack a clear picture of whether the effort is going to the right places.

I study every day, but I can't tell if it's the right things.

A syllabus list doesn't tell you what to do on a Tuesday evening with two hours and a tired brain.

My mock score dropped and I don't know why.

A score is a number. It doesn't show which questions cost you time, or which ones you should have skipped.

By the fourth paragraph of an RC, I've lost the first.

Reading faster usually means understanding less. That trade-off is fixable, but not by rushing.

YzzyStudy is built around those three problems.

What you get

Your plan

A plan that's honest about your time

Pick a finish line — three months, six, a year, or your own date — and the hours you can give each day. YzzyStudy lays out all 37 chapters across VARC, DILR and Quant in the order they build on each other, with a due date for each.

If the plan doesn't fit your hours, it tells you so, and shows three ways to make it fit, instead of quietly hoping.

  • Parallel progress in all three sections, week by week
  • Tick chapters off as you finish them
  • Your accuracy per chapter, from your own tests
The first two weeks of a study plan, with Quant and DILR chapters scheduled in each week.
Mocks and review

Mocks that feel like the real screen, and a review that actually teaches

Timed sections, the question palette, mark-for-review, an on-screen calculator and the CAT marking scheme. When you submit, you see more than a score: which questions ate your time, which easy ones slipped, and how your choices changed through the section.

Then go through every question you got wrong, with your answer beside the correct one and the full worked solution.

Reviewing a finished test: each wrong question shows the student's answer, the correct answer and a step-by-step solution.
Reading

Read faster without losing the thread

Focus Reader moves a soft highlight through the passage, phrase by phrase, at a pace you set. It only speeds up after you've shown you understood, by getting at least three of four questions right.

The structure lens marks the words where an author changes direction: however, therefore, although. That's where RC questions tend to come from.

  • 27 passages across six genres, each with its tone and structure explained
  • Paste any passage you're practising with; it's analysed on your device and erased when you're done
Focus Reader: a passage with the current phrase highlighted and signal words underlined.
Solutions

Solutions written to be understood, not just checked

Every question comes with a step-by-step solution in plain words. It says what's being asked, works through it, and points out the trap most people fall into.

Set problems get a Venn diagram drawn from the solution's own numbers. Reading questions explain why each wrong option is wrong, and every passage comes with its summary, tone and point of view.

A solved question: numbered steps and a Venn diagram showing tea only 30%, both 10%, coffee only 40%.

And the everyday things that add up

Small habits decide most CAT results. These help you keep them.

Daily 20

Twenty minutes of mental maths a day: additions, percentages, squares and more, timed.

Consistency calendar

See the days you showed up. Streaks count only real practice, not just opening the app.

Formulae and tables

Squares, cubes, fractions as percentages, powers: study them, then test your recall.

Phone or laptop

Designed for both, including the mock screen. Night mode for late sessions.

How it works

Three steps, and then it mostly runs itself.

Set your finish line

Choose when you want to be ready and how many hours a day you have. No exam date needed.

Do today's tasks

Up to three a day, each with the reason it's there. Finish them and you're on track.

Test, review, adjust

Take a mock, go through the solutions, and watch the plan shift towards what needs work.

What we promise

Prep sites are easy to fill with big numbers and bigger claims. We'd rather be useful and exact.

Every question is original, and every answer is checked. For maths, the answer is recomputed in code; if it doesn't match, the question doesn't ship.

The numbers are real. If we say 483 questions, there are 483. We don't round up.

No ads, and your data isn't for sale. Your progress is there to help you, and nothing else.

Found a mistake? Tell us. Every question has a "Report an issue" button, and we read every report.

Questions people ask

Is it free?

Yes, right now. Paid plans may come later. If they do, you'll see exactly what they cost and include before paying anything.

Are these real CAT questions?

No. Past CAT papers belong to the IIMs. Our questions are original, written to CAT's pattern: typed-answer questions, complete DILR sets, reading passages with four questions each, and the same marking.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a free Google sign-in. It keeps your plan, practice and mock results safe in your account, and the same on your phone and your laptop.

How many hours a day do I need?

The plan works with anything from half an hour to fourteen hours a day. It'll tell you honestly what your hours mean for your finish date.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Everything, including full mocks, is designed to work on a phone as well as a laptop.

Is YzzyStudy connected to the IIMs?

No. CAT is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management; YzzyStudy is independent of them.

Your finish line is a date on the calendar.

Let's work back from it. It takes about a minute to set up.
